Veterans Day Parade Reminder
Just a reminder that the Wickford Veterans Day parade is this Wednesday. We will be meeting on the basketball courts in Wilson Park at 9:30 am. Scouts should wear their class A uniforms. Parents are welcome (and encouraged) to walk in the parade too... The parade starts at 10:00 am. We will walk through town, down Boston Neck Road, and turn on Fairway Drive. Parents that aren't marching will need to sign for both drop off and pick up - and should meet us at the baseball field on Fairway drive for pick up. The weather is calling for showers in the early morning then cloudy for the remainder of the day. So please bring a rain jacket and/or umbrella. I will send an update Wednesday morning if the parade commissioner cancels due to inclement weather. Yours in Scouting, Steve |
